INDIANAPOLIS – Marian University has identified and selected a new vice president for finance and business operations. Greg Ginder is a former deputy airport director (COO/CFO) and vice president of finance for Indianapolis International Airport and former vice president of Performance Assessment Network. He began his career at Boehringer Mannheim Corporation (now Roche Diagnostics).

University officials called Ginder a consummate business professional whose credentials are complemented by a deep faith, an exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm, and a commitment to teamwork. Ginder succeeds former CFO Bill Curran, who retired in September. Curran worked

for and retired from Ice Miller, but came out of retirement to help guide Marian University (then Marian College) as it revamped its finance and business operations. Curran was recognized as one of the non-profit CFOs of the year by Indianapolis Business Journal in 2008.

“I will be forever grateful for Bill’s generous and expert service,” said Marian University president Daniel J. Elsener. “We believe Greg will take Bill’s place as an officer of the university, but more than that, he will join an excellent team of unique individuals with exceptional talents, educational attainment, character, faith, and commitment,” Elsener said. Ginder holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana. About Marian University
