A lot of families are planning to enjoy some free fun at PBS Kids in the Park this Saturday – now you can register young ones for school at the same time! Indianapolis Public Schools will offer electronic registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten on the Lawn at White River State Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday. We’ll be set up with all of the tools to get your little ones ready to start their education at IPS. There are some important papers required to be fully registered. To complete the registration process you’ll need:
- Your child’s original birth certificate (no photocopies)
- Your child’s immunization records
- Proof of residence (a signed lease or a utility bill showing your name address)
- A photo ID for the parent
Your child’s registration can be started at the park with your personal information, but all four of the items listed above are required to complete registration. A follow-up will be needed for families who don’t have all of the registration requirements. Please spread the word about this convenient registration opportunity for Indianapolis families!
