Katlyn Gilbert

Katlyn Gilbert of Heritage Christian School will represent Indiana as the only African-American female player on the girls' team at the 2018 McDonald’s All American Games. Heritage Christian School recently honored her in front of family, friends, coaches, teammates, members of the community and local McDonald’s owner Mya Smith.

Gilbert will join 23 other female prep players throughout the country as they take the court at the 17th annual Girls Game on March 28 at Philips Arena in Atlanta. Both the boys and girls game will air on ESPN networks.

McDonald’s All American Games alumni include some of basketball’s greatest players including Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
