It’s time for Summer Celebration

Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration is here and there’s something for everyone from free health screenings to teen forums, celebrities, concerts and more. Admission is free, making it easier for you to enjoy all that Expo Summer Celebration has to offer.

Here are a few highlights of this weekend’s events:

July 20  

Music Heritage Festival I, a free concert, featuring Stephanie Mills, After 7 and Loose Ends will be 6-11:30 p.m. at American Legion Mall. VIP seating is $40.

July 21  

Stephanie Mills 444 Love 18 Foundation Panel Discussion: The State of Our Black Males will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Entertainment Stage, located in Hall G. Free.

New Jack Swing Party with performances from Big Bub of Today, Al B. Sure and Christopher Williams will be 2-3:45 p.m. on the Entertainment Stage, located in Hall G. Free.

IBE Fashion Show will be 4:30-6 p.m. on the Entertainment Stage, located in Hall G. Free.

July 22  

Music Heritage Festival II with Brandy, Blackstreet, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly begins at 7:30 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tickets are $50, $65, $75 and $100. 

The Gospel Showcase with Vashawn Mitchell, Judah Band and the Eastern Star Church Choir will be 3:30-6:30 p.m. on the Entertainment Stage, located in Hall G. free.
