State Rep. Cherrish Pryor, Sen. Greg Taylor and City-County Councilor Monroe Gray Jr. will hold a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 30 in the Pike Township Government Center, 5665 Lafayette Road.

The three elected officials, representing state and local government, will update constituents on current legislation and ordinances and take questions.

Superintendent application window open

The Indianapolis Public Schools Board of School Commissioners is accepting applications for the superintendent position. A summary of the position, job and qualification requirements and a link to apply is available at www.myips.org and click on the link, “IPS Super Search.”

In addition, details of the search process and the timeline are available on the site. The page also includes a report of the community feedback the school board received regarding the qualities the next superintendent should possess. The report was compiled by IUPUI School of Education.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. May 17.
