2011 Women’s Final Four fan events

Tourney Town – April 1-3; Indiana Convention Center

Country music star Kellie Pickler will perform a free concert on April 2 at 5:30 p.m. Other features include a pep rally, mascot challenge, local talent show, autograph sessions and a pit crew challenge among some of the women’s basketball coaches.

Cirque du Salute – April 1; Indiana Convention Center

The four participating teams will walk the red carpet at 7 p.m. That portion of the event is free for fans to attend. Tickets are $20. The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will include an aerial performance by Cirque Dreams.

4Kay Run Hydrated by POWERADE ZERO – April 2; 8 a.m.; Indianapolis Motor Speedway

This run is held each year at the site of the Women’s Final Four to raise money for women’s cancer research through the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The 4Kay Run is open to all, including walkers. $20 if you register in advance or $25 on-site registration fee.

Super Saturday – April 2; Conseco Fieldhouse

Conseco Fieldhouse will host open practices and autograph sessions for each of the four teams, a Battle of the Bands between the four pep bands, and the WBCA High School All-America Game, featuring 20 of the nation’s best high school players.

Circle City Dribble – April 3

Several thousand youth will dribble their way through downtown. Entertainment and activities are included. Registration is still open and guarantees a t-shirt and basketball.

POWERADE Youth Clinics – April 2 at Lawrence Central and Northwest High Schools

Boys and girls will learn and enhance their basketball skills and life skills through clinics led by women’s basketball coaches and student-athletes from around the country. Registration is still open.

Winner’s Circle Worship with Indy Racing Ministry – April 3 at Artsgarden

Non-denominational service will feature pastors and musicians and is open to the public.
