It won’t just be a resurgent Indiana Pacers team greeting fans when they pour into Bankers Life Fieldhouse this 2018-19 season. They’ll also be met by a new menu featuring food offered by local culinary partners.
The menu, designed in conjunction with Levy Restaurants head chef Christopher Albano, will feature items from local favorites including Bru Burger, Jack’s Donuts, Subito and Tavern at the Point.
Pacers ownership challenged the organization to improve its fan experience, said Brent Rockwood, senior vice president for Corporate, Community and Public Relations for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Not that the Pacers had reason to be worried. On top of putting a more competitive team on the court recently, fans have seemingly enjoyed their time at Bankers Life. The arena ranked No. 2 in the NBA’s ranking of overall fan experience and No. 1 in in-seat experience last season.
Rick Fuson, president and COO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, said the new menu will be available to fans for the upcoming season, which is underway.
“We’ve never had such great and diverse food options in our history at Bankers Life Fieldhouse,” Fuson said in a statement. “As we tip off the season … we look forward to working with our culinary partners as we continue serving our guests and providing them with the best possible experiences.”
