Indiana Beach To Add New Wave Pool In 2015

Indiana Beach is proud to announce Beach Bay, a new water themed area that will contain a new 25,000 square foot wave pool, racing slides, a bowl slide and luxurious cabanas. The new wave pool and slides will be included in the Funday admissions ticket.

“Indiana Beach is very proud of our historic past and we continue to invest in our future. The addition of Beach Bay, as well as, last seasons’ seven new rides adds new wet and dry options for our guests to enjoy”, says John Collins, Indiana Beach General Manager. “With these new additions we continue to provide our guests with great value and more fun when they visit Indiana Beach.”

The Breakers at Beach Bay will be the centerpiece attraction of the new water area. The Breakers is an 800,000-gallon wave pool that will offer hours of splashing fun for all ages. This new area is located adjacent to the park’s north entrance.

Collins states, “With this multi-million dollar addition to Indiana Beach, we feel 2015 will be the best season ever for Indiana Beach. Our guests want exciting new attractions and Beach Bay will provide life long memories for generations of guests who have come to Indiana Beach year after year”

Beach Bay will be included with one-day Funday admissions ticket that give guests access to the rides and water park attractions at Indiana Beach. 2015 Season Pass holders will also be able to enjoy the new water attractions. Indiana Beach season passes provide unlimited admission to Indiana Beach and are available online at www.indianabeach.com. Each season pass holder receives over $175 in Park Perks, including selected Bring-A-Friend Free days. Season Passes offer the best value for multiple trips to Indiana Beach. Indiana Beach opens for the 2015 season on Friday May 22 of Memorial Day weekend.

Indiana Beach is located in Monticello, Indiana, on Lake Shafer. The amusement resort, founded in 1926, features a Boardwalk Funway, six roller coasters, 41 rides, a one-of-a-kind zipline that sends riders hurling over Lake Shafer, an aerial ropes course, Kiddyland, the Shafer Queen sightseeing paddlewheel boat, two campgrounds, rental accommodations and an on property hotel. Indiana Beach’s current water park, Ideal Beach, includes the original swimming pool with sand beach, water slides, an action river and a kid’s spray-ground.
