Foodlovetog’s Favorite Grilled Cheese

Indianapolis food blogger Candace from Foodlovetog.com shares her favorite recipe for grilled cheese.

Ingredients

1. 2 slices of Thick Sliced Texas Toast Bread

2. 5 Thinly Sliced Granny Smith Apple Slices

3. 4 Slices of Perfectly Cooked Thick Cut Bacon

4. 1/4 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

5. 2 Slices Provolone Cheese

6. 2 Slices Colby Jack Cheese

7. 2 Tablespoons Butter

Instructions

1. Heat a nonstick skillet on Medium Heat

2. Melt 1 Tablespoon of Butter just until bubbly

3. Place 1 Slice of Texas Toast in Skillet

4. Add 1/2 of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese to Bread

5. Place 1 Slice of Each Provolone & Colby Jack Cheese on side of Bread

6. Top with Sliced Apples and Bacon

7. Place remaining Shredded Cheese on Top of Sandwich

8. Top sandwich with second slice of Texas Toast

9. Cook on Medium Heat until golden brown.

10. Press lightly to melt cheese.

11. Using a spatula, flip the sandwich

12. Add second tablespoon of butter

13. Cook until golden and cheese is fully melted.

14. Serve and devour immediately.

Notes: This sandwich pairs well with your favorite soup. I happen to favor Tomato.
