Today, Tuesday, May 26, is the deadline to RSVP to hear Democratic political strategist and syndicated columnist Donna Brazile, the keynote speaker for the Indianapolis Urban League’s 13th annual Equal Opportunity Day.
The event will be held June 9 at the 500 Ballroom, inside the Indiana Convention Center at 100 S. Capitol Ave. A workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a luncheon will be provided from noon to 1:30 p.m.
She’s an American author, academic, and political analyst who is Vice Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. In 2000, she became the first Black campaign manager to direct a major presidential campaign, advising Al Gore. She is also noted as having served as interim Chair for the DNC in the spring of 2011.
