The Pike Performing Arts Center was on fire Sunday evening thanks to the new live recording of Pastor A. Thomas Hill of Healing Streams Word & Worship Center.

The recording was hosted by Suffragen Bishop Donald Golder of Temple of Praise Church, Indianapolis, as well as Pastor Remus Wright of the Fountain of Hope Church in Houston.

The Healing Streams Praise Team came out and set the tone for a praise and worship recording. The prayer was immediately done by Pastor Ty Turner, also known as “The Encourager.” Pastor Mark Brown of New Wineskin Ministries read the scripture with his Iphone application.

Some of the leading pastors of the city came out in support of one of their own, including Bishop T. Garrott and Lady Beverly Benjamin of Light of the World Christian Church, Pastor Jeffrey A. Johnson of Eastern Star Church, Pastor Henzy and Lady Green, of Emmaus Christian Church, Superintendent Johnson A. Beaven III of Citidel of Faith COGIC, and the “presiding bishop of gospel music in the State of Indiana,” producer Al “The Bishop” Hobbs.

Pastor Lisa Page-Brooks, of Detroit Michigan was the special musical guest. She was there in support of her brother, Pastor Hill and to promote her new CD release later this year. Her husband Michael Brooks, an original member of the super group, Commissioned was the producer for the live recording project.

Pastor Hill has several hits on this CD. One in particular could possibly be a crossover hit entitled “My Fathers Chair.” This song dealt with personal struggles and the eventual release of not having a father in the home, but having Jesus present as the father. It is a true possible crossover hit.

At the end of the recording the legendary Pentecostal Ambassadors –Hill, Golder and Wright - thrilled the crowd with one of their hits, revised a little by Michael Brooks.

All in all this was a first class recording, done by one of the most prolific writers of our generation, Pastor A. Thomas Hill. Well done Pastor!
